Coffee

New York City is a very "pet friendly" town.  Surprised?

This city is more than skyscrapers and bright lights.  It's about neighborhoods and neighbors, community and parks.  It's about the arts, preservation of history and historic places, improving the environment and loving our pets.

In fact New York City is a perfect place to have a dog.  On a daily basis, they have the opportunity to socialize and play with others. Within a 10 block radius of any given part of town you will find:  a dog run, grooming salon, veterinarian and doggy day care.

As Kodi George is a resident of New York City he enjoys all the wonders each day brings. In our neighborhood there is a wonderful little restaurant called the "Barking Dog".  I think this is one of the reasons we moved here.  New York City restaurants that have outdoor seating welcome our dogs for the dining experience.  The "Barking Dog" actually has a dog bar for all to drink.

On this beautiful March morning where the temperature was in the low 50's, we sat down at an outdoor table to have morning coffee.  Kodi was thrilled he could sit on his favorite chair once again (at least for today...).  I had coffee, he had some cream.

We took advantage of this glorious morning since just a few weeks ago we had 3 different snow storms. As they say here in the North East "if you don't like the weather wait a minute". I'm not sure who originally quoted that, but it is definitely accurate!

We love the four seasons, but do miss our outdoor dining. Spring is right around the corner!
